Isolated Multilayer Pipe characteristics
For the present, we facilitate you the characteristics of the BARBI Multipex isolated multilayer pipe that we manufacture.
Industrial Blansol has the certification of Aenor ISO 9001 with number of company registration ES-0216/2003.
Likewise the pipes multicapa BARBI Multipex has the mark of quality N of Aenor with Certificate of Product Nº 001/003589 in agreement with the norm it UNE 53-961.
The foam is according to the Italian norm 10/91.

-Materials employees:
External and internal layer of crosslinked polyethylene.
-Welding type:
Aluminum butt welded.
-Advantages:

Regarding to the material of crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) with which the layers are manufactured, it is necessary to highlight the superior resistance with the pressure and the temperature, in comparison with the other existent option in the market (PERT). That is to say that a tube like the Multipex that have both layers of PEX support more pressure and more temperature that another of same dimensions manufactured with PERT.
Also, and probably so important or more than the above-mentioned, is the best behaviour of PEX in the joints between the tube and the accessories.As the PERT is a thermoplastic (100%), when it is exposed to high temperatures, it loses compression in the joints with the fittings, the molecules of the PERT spread to "to slip" ones over others favoured for the compression of fitting and the high temperature. This phenomenon is more accused with more working temperature. While this doesn't happen with PEX, because in PEX the molecules are not able "to slip".The conclusion of this is that the risk of leakages in the unions of fittings to the multilayer tube manufactured with PEX, is very inferior to the others that we would have if multilayer uses tubes manufactured with PERT.

With reference to the type of welding of the aluminum, it is necessary to say that the welding used in the tubes BARBI Multipex is made "butt welded" fusing both ends of the aluminum sheet with what the resistance of the welding line is same or superior to the resistance of any other line of the aluminum layer. This doesn't happen this way in the tubes where the aluminum layer is "soldier" by ultrasonic, where the aluminum doesn't melt and where a welding has not really been gotten, the both sides of aluminum are stuck together, and under certain conditions of bending the aluminum sides can becoming unstuck.
